Area homeschool students and educators are invited to join us for a series of field trips designed for homeschool students in Kindergarten to 5th grade. This year's Homeschool in the Hills programming will focus on the world of citizen science, a system of public programs designed to involve budding scientists of all ages in a variety of fields to collect data for scientific use. With numerous projects spanning the entire year there is something for everyone in the world of citizen science. We aim to explore a selection of programs & help you find ways to get involved with the broader scientific community.

Join us on Tuesday, June 2nd & jump into the world of pollinators & their habitats as we get involved with the Monarch Larva Monitoring Project. Learn more about larval insect forms & ways to record & report that data. We will also be exploring the world of insect pollinators & steps you can take to support them in your own backyard.
