Wildlings: Brilliant Birds

Students age 3 to 5 are invited to join us for Wildlings: Brilliant Birds on Friday, June 19th from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Hitchcock Nature Center. Why are some birds so colorful? Do all birds build nests? How do they fly so high? Campers will answer all these questions and more as they learn to use binoculars, climb our observation tower for a birds eye view, learn about wings, & even meet a live bird friend.

Wildlings Camp is designed for unaccompanied campers age 3 to 5 who have not attended Kindergarten. Camps will be held at Hitchcock Nature Center from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. June 15th through 19th. Cost is $15.00 per camper per day & includes park admission & all program materials.Online pre-registration is required as space is limited.

Join us or a summer of fun during Pottawattamie Conservation's 2020 Summer Nature Camps! Camps are offered for youth Pre-K through 9th Grade with a focus on fostering an understanding & appreciation of Iowa's unique environment. Campers will experience traditional summer camp games, outdoor adventures, & skill building activities during these immersive, hands-on camps.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Due to the material needs of each camp we observe the following cancellation policy.
14 Days (or More) Notice - 50% Refund
13 to 8 Days Notice - 25% Refund
7 Days or Less Notice - 0% Refund
To cancel your camp registration please call 712-545-3283 extension 1189 or email environmentaleducation@pottcounty-ia.gov.

*Camps with less than 10 registered campers may be cancelled at the discretion of Pottawattamie Conservation. Camps cancelled by Pottawattamie Conservation will be refunded 100%.
