Wild Seekers at Hitchcock Nature Center

Students entering 3rd & 4th Grade will expand their outdoor knowledge during Wild Seekers at Hitchcock Nature Center June 22nd through 24th. Campers will discover news skills & explore the wild side of Iowa during this hands-on camp. Campers will enjoy beginning archery lessons, shelter building challenges, hiking, plant & animal identification, & nature crafts.
Wild Seekers camp is designed for unaccompanied campers entering 3rd & 4th grade (Ages 8 to 9). The camp will be held at Hitchcock Nature Center in Honey Creek, IA & will be from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. June 22nd through 24th. The cost for this three-day camp is $75.00 per camper & includes park admission, snack, & camp materials.
Campers will need to provide a sack lunch for each day of
camp. We also request campers bring a refillable water bottle, sunblock &
insect repellent also recommended are a hat, sunglasses, long pants &
closed-toe shoes.
Due to COVID-19 the format of this program may be adjusted.

Please note, camps may be attended by students in the listed
grades only. No additional students or parents please.

Due to the material needs of each camp, we observe the
following cancellation policy.

14 Days (or More) Notice - 50% Refund

13 to 8 Days Notice - 25% Refund

7 Days or Less Notice - 0% Refund

*Camps with less than 10 registered campers may be canceled
at the discretion of Pottawattamie Conservation. Camps canceled by
Pottawattamie Conservation will be refunded 100%.
About 2021 Summer Nature Camps
Join us for a summer of fun during Pottawattamie Conservation's 2021 Summer Nature Camps! Camps are offered for youth Pre-K through 9th Grade with a focus on fostering an understanding & appreciation of Iowa's unique environment. Campers will experience traditional summer camp games, outdoor adventures, & skill-building activities during these immersive, hands-on camps.
