Whitetail Woods Wildlife Area


This 55 acre tract is managed as a wildlife managment area that is mostly wooded with a native grass plot. The North Raccoon River runs through the northeast corner of the property allowing one to fish for channel catfish, small mouth & walleye.  Many outdoor enthusiast go hunting for whitetail deer, wild turkey & pheasant in the area.  There are plenty of opportunities to photograph many species of birds and other small game while hiking the timber.

Located four miles northwest of Sac City.
