Explore
the wild, muddy, squishy world of water. Campers will learn how water
connects us all as they discover Story County ponds, wetlands,
streams, and rivers through hands-on activities, art, stories, games,
and journaling.
This camp is only for children that are completing 1st or 2nd grade in the spring of 2018. Children may only be registered for one "A" camp and one "B" camp in order to avoid duplicate programming.
This camp runs Monday, June 11 - Friday, June 15, 2018. Camp will begin at 1:00 p.m. and end at 3:30 p.m. daily.
Registration begins on Saturday, April 21 at 8:00 a.m. Adding your child to the waiting list prior to April 21 will not hold a place for them. Please wait until April 21 when online registration opens.
IMPORTANT:
If you have any dietary or medical concerns, please list those on the last step of the check-out process in the "Special Needs/Accommodations/Comments" box.
Mandatory health forms will be sent via email to those registered along with camp details. Health forms must be returned to SCC at least one week prior to camp in order for your child to participate.
To cancel a registration, please call (515) 232-2516. Refunds will only be issued for cancellations received at least five business days prior to the camp.
Nature camp t-shirts are available on a pre-paid basis only; we will not be ordering extras. To order your t-shirt, please look for the event titles "Nature Camp T-Shirts 2018" (available to order now), or click "Continue Shopping" to add it to your cart after registering for camp.
