Clay Play
McFarland Park, Story County
Saturday, August 11, 2018
Hunt for banks of natural clay during a creek walk. Plan on
getting wet and muddy as we use our imaginations to play with clay. Who knows
what else we may discover!
Participants are encouraged to wear close-toed shoes
that will not be pulled off in mud (i.e., not fip-flops).
Children must be
accompanied by an adult.
The event is free but space is limited. Registration is required by 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 8, 2018.
This is a family friendly event but not appropriate for strollers
For any outdoor programs, SCC recommends
bringing a water bottle, wearing a hat and/or sunblock, using bug spray, and
dressing for the weather. Long pants and close-toed shoes are recommended
for hiking. Our outdoor programs are weather dependent and may be cancelled if
conditions are not favorable. Refunds for paid programs are given in the
event that SCC has to cancel the program.
