Santa’s helpers have been
playing in the park! Join Naturalist Jess Lancial to learn how to use a GPS,
then go search the woods to find some elves and the presents they have hidden
in the park.
This program is limited to 20 groups, or 50 collectors, so be sure
to register early to reserve your spot! We recommend that groups not exceed
eight people as each group will share one GPS unit.
Any registered child between
the ages 3-14 yrs. will be considered a collector. Each collector will be
allowed to find a present from five different locations throughout the
park.
This program is intended for children between the ages of 3-14 yrs. of
age. Children under the age of 3 yrs. or older than 14 yrs. do not need
to register, but will be asked not to collect presents.
Fee of $5 per collector
(any child 3-14 years old) with registration if required by 4 p.m. on Friday, November 30, 2018.
For any outdoor programs, SCC recommends
bringing a water bottle, wearing a hat and/or sunblock, using bug spray, and
dressing for the weather. Long pants and close-toed shoes are recommended
for hiking. Our outdoor programs are weather dependent and may be cancelled if
conditions are not favorable. Refunds for paid programs are given in the
event that SCC has to cancel the program.
