People depend on plants, which depend on pollinators! Through a day filled with activities and a trip to the Iowa State Horticultural Research Farm, campers will explore the connection between all three. 

Campers will need a sack lunch, water bottle, sunscreen, and bug spray. Snacks will be provided. This camp is co-sponsored by Iowa State University Integrated Pest Management. 

This camp is only for children that are completing 5th, 6th, or 7th grade in the spring of 2019. This one day camp will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 9, 2019.

Registration begins on Saturday, April 13 at 8:00 a.m. Adding your child to the waiting list prior to April 13 will not hold a place for them. Please wait until April 13 when online registration opens.

IMPORTANT: Mandatory health forms will be sent via email to those registered along with camp details. Health forms must be returned to SCC at least one week prior to camp in order for your child to participate.To cancel a registration, please call (515) 232-2516. Refunds will only be issued for cancellations received at least five business days prior to the camp.
