FLOAT III (Overnight Canoe Trip)

Fun-Loving Outdoor Adventure Team (FLOAT) III allows campers to explore an Iowa river by taking an overnight canoe trip. Campers must have prior canoe experience or have attended a previous FLOAT camp.
This camp is for youth completing 6th or 7th grade in the spring of 2019. This overnight camp begins on Thursday, August 8 at 9:00 a.m. and ends on Friday, August 9 at 4:00 p.m.
Registration begins on Saturday, April 13 at 8:00 a.m. Adding your child to the waiting list prior to April 13 will not hold a place for them. Please wait until April 13 when online registration opens.
IMPORTANT: Mandatory health forms will be sent via email to those registered along with camp details. Health forms must be returned to SCC at least one week prior to camp in order for your child to participate.To cancel a registration, please call (515) 232-2516. Refunds will only be issued for cancellations received at least five business days prior to the camp.
Nature Camp t-shirts: Nature camp t-shirts are available on a pre-paid basis only; we will not be ordering extras.
