Polliwogs: Furries, Feathers, Fliers, and Fins Camp

McFarland Park, Story County

Monday, June 21, 2021

Children explore what makes each animal special, whether they have fur, feathers, fliers, or fins. On the last day, we'll venture to the lake with nets, so be prepared to get wet and dirty! Children will need to have a mask, snacks, water bottle, sunscreen, snacks, but spray, water shoes, hiking shoes, etc.  Masks are recommended at all times applicable. All of this and more will be outlined on parent letter as well.

This camp is only for children that will be starting kindergarten in the fall of 2021.Children must be 5 years of age by August 1, 2021 in order to attend.

Please register for only the AM or the PM camp for Polliwogs: Furries, Feathers, Fliers, and Fins.

This camp runs Monday, June 21st - Thursday, June 24th. Camp will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 11:30 a.m. daily. Parents are not allowed to stay with children (we require background checks on each person that is around children).

Our top priority has been and will continue to be the health and well-being of the public and the staff. In response to COVID-19, Story County Conservation programs will adhere to social distancing, smaller group size, increased sanitation, and we recommend face coverings when social distancing is not possible or while indoors. Pre-registration will be required when group size needs to be limited due to the facility or location.
