WCC 2024 Seasonal Camping Sites

If you enjoy camping at your local county park we are making it even easier for you to accomplish this task and not have to move your camper! We are offering a few select sites at the John F Kennedy Campground for seasonal camping. This means you can bring your camper out in April and leave it until October!
Seasonal sites will offer asphalt or gravel pads, electric (20, 30, and/or 50 amp), water and sewer hook ups. The sites will be available from April 15 until October 15.
You are welcome to take your camper to other locations during this time; it will remain your site throughout the summer months. Your site will have a picnic table, fire ring and room to park 2 vehicles. Additional parking is located in visitor parking in the campground.
To acquire one of these sites you must fill out a Seasonal Camp Site Application. They are available online at www.mycountyparks.com or pick up at the Webster County Conservation office during regular business hours. Return application by September 30, 2023 at 4:30 pm. We will draw for sites at our regular board meeting on October 10th at approximately 5:30 pm in the Kennedy Park Office. If you are drawn you will be required to put down a $500 deposit by November 1, 2023. The remainder of your balance for this site ($2,000) will be due by April 15, 2024. Failure to make your payment by this date will result in forfeiting your site and $500 deposit.
