Winter Celebration and Full Moon Hike

Winneshiek County Conservation will
host a Winter Celebration and Full Moon Hike on Saturday, December 22 at Lake
Meyer Park and Campground.
Gather your friends
and family, get some fresh air, and celebrate the holiday season, a full moon,
and the return of longer days! The Winter Celebration will run from 3:30 until
5:00 and will feature a variety of crafts, activities, and treats. A short full moon hike will begin at 5:30, if weather
conditions allow.
Both events will be
held at the Lake Meyer Educational Shelter in the park’s campground and are
free with no reservations required. In case of unsafe weather or travel
conditions, the events will be cancelled, and notices posted on
winneshiekwild.com, the Winneshiek County Conservation Facebook page, and local
radio stations.
Lake Meyer Park is
located at 2546 Lake Meyer Road, between Calmar and Fort Atkinson on Highway
24.
