\n<p>Strap on some snowshoes &amp; learn the basics during this
\nhands-on program. Join us at Hitchcock Nature Center on Saturday, February 13th at 2:00 p.m. Learn
\nthe skills and knowledge needed to go on your own snowshoe adventure then head
\noutdoors for some practice &amp; your own snowshoe adventure in the Loess
\nHills.
\n&nbsp;

\n<p>Cost is $5.00 per person, participants must be age 5 or over
\nplease. Your admission fee includes admission to the park &amp; snowshoe
\nrental. Online pre-registration is required as space is limited. For questions not answered online please call 712-545-3283.

\n<p>*In the event of cancellation due to inclement weather
\nparticipants will be notified via the email address provided during
\nregistration. This event will be cancelled in the event there is no snow.
\n&nbsp;

\nDue to COVID-19 the format of this program has been
\nadjusted.
\n&nbsp;

\n    6-foot distance will be maintained between
\n    individuals/family groups
\n    </li>
\n    <li>Masks required while inside and requested when distancing is
\n    impossible outside
\n    </li>
\n    <li>This program will be held primarily outdoors
\n    </li>
\n    <li>Staff will wear masks when 6-foot distance is not possible
\n    or indoors
\n    </li>
\n    <li>
\n    Maximum registration has been reduced
\n    </li>
\n    <li>
\n    Participants must sign a participation waiver upon arrival
\n    </li>

\nThis event is not pet friendly, service animals are always welcome. Please meet at the Loess
\nHills Lodge.

\nCancellation Policy
\n<br />
\nGuests may cancel their reservation for a full refund up to
\n1 week (7 days) prior to the program date by calling 712-545-3283 and speaking
\nwith staff directly. Cancellations received less than 1 week (7 days) in
\nadvance of the event will not be refunded. Fees for programs cancelled by PCC
\ndue to weather or other circumstances will be refunded.
