Join us for this day of birding&nbsp;to learn some new birding skills at the Osborne Nature\nCenter on Saturday, March 13th starting at 1:00 p.m.</p>\n<ul>\n    <li style="margin-left: 40px;"> 1:00  p.m.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Thrushes and Kin (bluebirds and robins)&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n    <li style="margin-left: 40px;">3:00  p.m.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In-depth Bird Hike&nbsp; &nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p>\nThe\nworkshop will be led by Wildlife Biologist Kelly McKay, of the BioEco Research\nand Monitoring Center. McKay, with assistance from Mark Roberts (Clinton County\nConservation) and Brian Ritter (Nahant Marsh Education Center), developed the\nBuilding Better Birders Series in an effort to advance public skills\nidentifying birds and promote more involvement in Citizen Science. Their pilot\nprogram in Clinton County was honored the &ldquo;Ding Darling Environmental Education\nAward&rdquo; from the Iowa Association of Naturalists and the Iowa Conservation\nEducation Coalition. This year McKay is expanding to other counties throughout\nIowa. These workshops are funded through a grant from the Resource Enhancement\nand Protection-Conservation Education Program (Reap-CEP).\n&nbsp;\n</p>\n<p>\nClayton\nCounty Conservation will offer two more workshops with McKay over the next few\nmonths. Watch for February&rsquo;s date to be rescheduled and join us May 16th for Warblers\nand More, another All Day Workshop.\n&nbsp;\n</p>\n<p>\nClass\nsize is limited to allow for social distancing, so please register for the\nevent at www.claytoncountyconservation.org. The Osborne Center is located on Highway 13, five\nmiles south of Elkader. </p>
