\nand muddy! During this unstructured activity, we&rsquo;ll provide scooping equipment
\nand head to the pond to catch frogs, tadpoles, snails, and other fascinating
\npond creatures. Let the imagination, discoveries, and friendships unfold!
\nParticipants should wear clothes that can get wet and muddy and closed-toed
\nshoes. Adults must remain present. After the designated pond time families are
\nencouraged to bring a picnic dinner and continue the fun and explore the rest
\nof the park on their own. This program is free, but registration is required.
\nThis activity is most appropriate for <strong>ages 5 and up, but all ages are
\nwelcome</strong>.&nbsp;<a href="https://www.storycountyiowa.gov/DocumentCenter/View/11391/TELC_Overall-map-FINAL" target="_blank">Be sure to meet at the "Nest."</a></p>

In response to the ongoing development of COVID-19, Story County Conservation programs will adhere to social distancing, smaller group size, increased sanitation and face coverings mandatory when social distancing is not possible or while indoors.
