\n<p>The community of Eldon, Iowa, home of the
\nlittle white house in Grant Wood&rsquo;s most famous painting <em>American Gothic</em>,
\ncelebrates Gothic Days the second weekend every June. This year the American
\nGothic House Center invites students from area school districts as well as the general public to participate
\nin our annual amateur art contest.&nbsp;</p>

\n<p>Rules of Art Work:</p>
\n<p><span style="white-space: pre;">	</span>&middot;&nbsp; Must
\ninclude the American Gothic House in some form</p>
\n<p><span style="white-space: pre;">	</span>&middot;&nbsp; 8&rdquo;
\nx 10&rdquo; or larger work- must be original AND
\ndisplay ready

\n<p><span style="white-space: pre;">	</span>&middot;&nbsp; Any
\nmedium EXCEPT photography</p>
\n<p><span style="white-space: pre;">	</span>&middot;&nbsp; Is
\nlimited to two pieces of art work per person
\n</p>
\n<p><span style="white-space: pre;">	</span>&middot;&nbsp; Art
\nwork must be submitted with entry form by May 27, 2022, at 5:00 p.m.

\nart work will be on display inside the American Gothic House June 10- 12, 2022</p>

\nwill be $40 for first place and $20 for second place in each division PLUS one
\n$60 gift certificate from the American Gothic House Center gift shop for Best
\nin Show

\nShow will be displayed in the American Gothic House through mid-October

\ncopyright laws. Participants will also acknowledge that the art work is not insured during transportation, storage or display
\nand will waive any claim of any nature whatsoever now or in the future against the Ottumwa Area Arts Council and American Gothic House Center for any loss, theft, or physical damage that may occur
\nto the art work submitted.&nbsp;</em></p>
\n<p><strong>Art work may be picked up AFTER 6/14/2022.</strong></p>
