\non May 7th from 1:00-3:00pm at the Backbone Shelter at Pammel Park.
\n&nbsp;
\nThe
\nelusive morel mushroom is a sought-after springtime delicacy, but did you know
\nthere are other mushrooms and plants that can be foraged? Join Naturalist and
\nfungi enthusiast, Jess Lancial, to learn some tips and tricks for finding morel mushrooms and how to distinguish them from false morels and other look alikes.
\nWe will also discover other fungi and plants that can be foraged in the spring.
\nWe might even meet some newly trained mushroom sniffing pooches, who can do the
\nhard work of finding morels for us! Be dressed to go off trail in the woods
\n(long pants and close-toed shoes will be a must!). We ask that participants
\nplease do <strong>NOT</strong> bring their own dogs along, as it will distract the working dogs.</p>
\n<p><strong>Register
\nearly as space is limited. Cost is $5 per person. All ages welcome but strollers are not allowed due to terrain. Register online at mycountyparks.com.
