\npaddle will be held on Friday, June 7th from 10:00 am until approximately 2:00
\npm starting at the Austin Park Campgrounds in Van Buren County. Participants
\nwill stop several times to learn about the animals, history, and geology of the
\nriver. If you have your own canoe or kayak you are more than welcome to bring
\nyour own. The paddle is open to everyone, however children under age 18 must be
\naccompanied by an adult. This is an official Des Moines River Water Trails
\nevent cosponsored by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources and Van Buren
\nCounty Conservation. The Des Moines River Water Trail is one of 19 official
\nwater trails in Iowa.
