\nbe migrating back and nesting once again. Spend the afternoon learning about our
\nfeathered friends and bird rehabilitation with Jenni Bookjakuakul, the
\nfounder/CEO of Iowa Bird Rehabilitation (IBR) in Des Moines.
\n&nbsp;</p>
\n<p>
\nBirds worldwide are declining at an alarming rate. Jenni and
\nher team are dedicated to taking care of Iowa&rsquo;s sick and injured songbirds, waterfowl,
\ngamebirds, shorebirds, and raptors. IBR was founded in 2012 and has taken in
\nover 14,000 birds to date. After thousands of patients and more than a decade
\nof rehabbing bird, Jenni has some crazy, unique, and heartwarming rescue
\nstories she is excited to share. Participants will also learn ways to protect
\nwild birds, help injured wildlife, and support IBR.
\nThis program is free, but donations to the IBR are welcomed.
