\n<p>This family event is free to the public. IA residents do not need a fishing license as Cop's N' Bobbers Fishing Derby is held during DNR FREE fishing weekend June 5, 6, 7, 2026</p>
\n<p>All ages can fish since it is free fishing weekend, but prizes are only for ages 3 to 15.</p>
\n<p>Each participant will go home with a prize.</p>
\n<p>Feel free to bring your own fishing pole and tackle as there will be a limited number of fishing poles available to barrow.</p>

This is a great opportunity to break down barriers and get to know the your local law enforcement officers.
