Registration is NOT necessary. This is a come-and-go-as-you-please activity.
\nThese FREE activities will be available on a first-come, first-served \nbasis while supplies last. Each event’s theme and activities will correspond \nwith the subject of the simultaneous self-guided hike. All children must be accompanied \nby an adult aged 18 or older the entire time. Activities will begin and end at \nthe American Gothic House Center (look for signs) and are geared toward \nelementary aged children in a come-and-go-as-you-please fashion. No \npreregistration necessary. Check Facebook for any cancellations.
\nDownload a hike “passport” for kids ages 6-18 HERE or stop into the Center and pick one up. Write down 3 things you learned from 3 different 2025 hikes at the American Gothic House plus complete 2 independent activities May- August 2025 to earn an American Gothic House Center lanyard! All details and requirements for this activity are on the passport.
\nAlso ask to check out an educational backpack from the Center’s gift shop May 23rd through September 2nd to help with the journey! Topics are bugs, birds, and plants.
