\nnight, their haunting calls echoing through the quiet dark.&nbsp;

\nwill have a chance to meet this elusive predator in person on Friday, February
\n7th.&nbsp; The special&nbsp;&ldquo;All
\nAbout Owls&rdquo; evening begins at 6:00 p.m. in the South Shelter house at Buena
\nVista County Conservation Park. Stop by to make an owl-themed craft, sip some
\nhot cocoa or coffee, enjoy some refreshments, and meet Luna, the education
\nbarred owl.&nbsp;
\n&nbsp;

\nAt 6:30
\np.m., Naturalist Katie will present a short program on the owls of Iowa,
\nfollowed by an owl prowl. The owl prowl will begin at 7:00 p.m. at the South
\nShelter. Naturalist Katie will lead a short hike to call owls. Snowshoes will
\nbe available (at no charge) for the owl prowl if there is at least six inches
\nof snow. &nbsp;If there isn&rsquo;t sufficient snow cover, please wear appropriate
\nwalking shoes or boots. Please dress for the weather if you are planning to go
\non the hike.&nbsp;
