\n<p class="font_8" style="font-size: 17px;">Clayton County Conservation invites you to the 7th Annual Pony Hollow Trail 15k on October 25, 2025. The 15k race will wind you around the Elkader City Park before taking you out and back on the scenic, flat, lime-chipped Pony Hollow Trail (PHT). You will appreciate the fall beauty of this lime-chip trail as it meanders in the trees along the Turkey River and Robert&rsquo;s Creek.&nbsp;</p>
\n<p class="font_8" style="font-size: 17px;"><span style="font-style: italic;">Walkers please only sign up for the 5k.</span></p>
\n<p class="font_8"><span style="font-size: 17px; font-weight: bold;">Race swag are only guaranteed to all those that pre-register before October 12th. No extras will be ordered.</span><span style="font-size: 17px;"> All online registrations close at 1 pm on October 24th. Mailed in registrations must also be received by Oct. 24th.&nbsp;</span></p>
\n<p class="font_8" style="font-size: 17px;">15k&nbsp;Adult: $35 thru Oct. 24, $45 race day</p>
\n<p class="font_8" style="font-size: 17px;">15k Child (17 &amp; under): $25 thru Oct. 24, $35 race day</p>
\n<p class="font_8" style="font-size: 17px;"><span>15k for runners only</span></p>
\n<p class="font_8" style="font-size: 17px;">Packet pickup will be from 7:30-8:45am on race day at the Floral Hall shelter house located in the Elkader City Park. There is also parking and bathrooms located in this area for your convenience.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
\n<p class="font_8" style="font-size: 17px;">Race will start promptly at 9 AM near the south trailhead. No parking will be allowed at the start/finish on High Street. Please use the city park and pool parking lot.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
\n<p class="font_8" style="font-size: 17px;">The funds raised from this race will be used for future trail expansion efforts to join the two Pony Hollow trail heads into a continuous loop. Part of the funds have been secured through grant dollars; Wellmark Large Match Grant, Upper Mississippi Gaming Grant, TAP, Enhance Iowa, and Black Hills Energy.&nbsp; &nbsp;We are in need of remaining matching dollars to complete the project. Not a runner but still want to support this project? Donations can be accepted at Clayton County Conservation or purchase a Pony Hollow Trail Supporter shirt from Rivals in Strawberry Point and a portion of the sale will benefit the trail. </p>
