\n<p>Join Older, Wiser, Livelier, Souls for the 2025 grand tour of the Silos and Smokestacks National Heritage Area. October&rsquo;s destination will be a visit to Cascade to see the Limestone Silo &amp; visit the Tri-County Historical Society Museum. Please meet at Osborne Park at 9:45 AM to carpool to our destination on October 16th. </p>
\n<p>This O.W.L.S. adventure will explore Cascade as we first tour the Tri-County Historical Society Museum which features motion activated sounds when you enter a room, a hands on replica of a telegraph, an old jail cell, railroad room, and the sports room highlighting baseball&rsquo;s Red Faber. The final stop of the tour will be a visit to the Historic 1930&rsquo;s Limestone Silo.</p>
\n<p>Join us each month, March through November, for O.W.L.S., Older Wiser Livelier Souls. Each month will feature a new Silos and Smokestacks Site, so join us as we explore more of the Silos and Smokestacks National Heritage Area.&nbsp;</p>
\n<p>Reservations are required. Reserve your spot today by calling (563) 245-1516 or visit the Osborne Nature Center.&nbsp; Osborne Nature Center is located on HWY 13 five miles south of Elkader. The center is open from 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday-Saturday, and Sunday noon-4pm.
