\n<p>Project Wingspan seeks to create,
\nenhance, and restore pollinator habitat across our region. Gina Bartleson,
\nProject Wingspan Iowa State Coordinator, will talk about the impact of
\npollinators and pollinator decline, and what Project Wingspan does to help pollinators.
\nLearn about seed harvesting and saving.
\n&nbsp;

\n<p>
\nFollowing the presentation,
\nparticipants will prepare their own milk jug with native plant seeds to take
\nhome. Winter sowing is&nbsp;a low-maintenance method for starting native plants
\noutdoors in recycled containers during winter, letting natural freeze-thaw
\ncycles provide the necessary cold stratification for germination, resulting in
\nstrong, locally adapted seedlings without grow lights or indoor fuss.
