\n<p>Calling all explorers! Search for nature&rsquo;s
\ntreasures as we follow maps, make mini-rafts, investigate wildlife, and step
\ninto creeks and marshes. Discover Story County natural areas through hands-on
\nactivities, art, stories, games, and journaling.&nbsp;We may visit the
\nfollowing areas (locations may change depending on water levels):

\nMcFarland Park: Pond, prairie,
\nforest, and creek&mdash;we&rsquo;ll experience several habitats and the toads, birds, and
\nbugs that live there.
\nCooper&rsquo;s Prairie Marsh:&nbsp; This restored marsh adventure is a natural
\n"jungle" of cattails, sedges, rushes, muskrats, yellow-headed
\nblackbirds, and dragonflies.
\nMcFarland Creek: We&rsquo;ll flip rocks
\nin the riffles and shallows of the creek and search for crawdads, water
\nstriders, and natural clay.</p>
