\nThis special event will be held once a month this summer.&nbsp;
\n&nbsp;
\n&ensp;&ensp;</p>
\n<p>The first Nature Night will focus on
\nowls of Iowa and summer constellations. The program is scheduled for Friday,
\nJune 19th at the Conservation Office at Buena Vista County
\nConservation Park.&nbsp; &nbsp; </p>
\n<p>The program is set to begin at 8:00
\np.m. with Luna, a barred owl, and Odin, a red-tailed hawk. These two live
\neducation birds will be on hand as participants learn about the raptors that
\nrule the skies of Iowa.
\n&nbsp;
\n&ensp;&ensp;</p>
\n<p>At 9 p.m., everyone will head to
\nwoods to call for the species of owls that nest in the park. If weather
\npermits, there will be a lesson on the night sky, including the moon, planets,
\nand visible constellations.
\n&nbsp;
\n&ensp;&ensp;</p>
\n<p>Registration is required for this
\nprogram. Contact the Conservation Office at 712-295 -7985 by Wednesday, June 17th
\nat 4:00 p.m. This program could be cancelled due to inclement weather or lack
\nof participants.
