It is Free Fishing Weekend in Iowa, and that seems the perfect time to take a paddle down the Shell Rock River - fishing as we go. All are welcome to join in this paddle and fish event. It will be a leisurely float/paddle to allow those who want to fish from their kayaks/canoes the ability to do so. Whether you are new to paddling and/or fishing or a seasoned "pro", you can get on the river with us for a fun and relaxing morning. Kayaks and fishing equipment are available for those who need to borrow, but you are also welcome to bring your own.
\nRegistration is required by calling 319-346-6551, and space is limited. When you call, be sure to let us know the number in your party, your contact information, and if you will bring your own equipment or borrow ours.
\nHopefully the river and weather will allow us to hold this event, but in the case of inclement weather or high water in the river, we will cancel.
