Participants will float approximately 9 river miles from Cottonwood Loop at Welter Recreation Area to Indian Path Park while enjoying river scenery and a relaxing summer morning on the water.</p>\n<p>📅 Date: Saturday, June 20</p>\n<p>🌧 Rain Date: Saturday, June 27</p>\n<p>⏰Start Time: 9:00 AM (please arrive early for check-in and shuttle arrangements)</p>\n<p>📍Meet Up Location: Indian Path (1599 US-61, Wever, IA 52658) - you will park here and be shuttled from this location to Cottonwood Loop</p>\n<p>🚣🏻&zwj;♀️ Route: Cottonwood Loop at Welter Recreation Area &rarr; Indian Path Park</p>\n<p>This float is expected to take approximately 3&ndash;4 hours on the water, with additional time for check-in, shuttle transportation, and loading/unloading boats. Please plan for a half-day outdoor adventure.</p>\n<p>💲 Cost: $15 per person (Registration fee applies even if bringing your own canoe or kayak)</p>\n<p>Registration includes:</p>\n<p>✔ Expert Guides</p>\n<p>✔ Boat use (limited canoes and kayaks available)</p>\n<p>✔ Paddle</p>\n<p>✔ Life jacket (required)</p>\n<p>✔ Shuttle transportation</p>\n<p>Participants are welcome to bring their own canoe or kayak.</p>\n<p>Age Recommendation: This event is recommended for ages 12 and older due to the length of the float and time spent on the water. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. All minors must have a signed parent/guardian waiver.</p>\n<p>Please bring:</p>\n<p>&bull; Water (plenty!)</p>\n<p>&bull; Sunscreen and/or hat</p>\n<p>&bull; Clothes and shoes that can get wet</p>\n<p>&bull; Snacks if desired</p>\n<p>&bull; Dry bag for valuables (recommended)</p>\n<p>&bull; Change of clothes for after the float</p>\n<p>This trip covers a moderate distance, and participants should be comfortable sitting for extended periods and paddling for several hours.
