DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=BASE64:<p>Enjoy a peaceful hike through the prairie at the Hurstville Interpretive Center while practicing your birding skills on Sunday, July 12 at 10:00 AM.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Learn to identify local Iowa birds by sight with binoculars, and learn a few bird calls along the way! </p>\n<p>The trail is about half a mile and flat. Please bring water and wear comfortable clothing and sturdy footwear comfortable for walking.</p>\n<p>Participants are encouraged to download the Seek app on their smart device to aid in bird ID. </p>\n<p>This event is free and open to adults 18 and up. </p>\n<p>Registration is not required.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>For more information, contact Jackson County Conservation at (563) 652-3783. </p>\n<p>The Hurstville Interpretive Center is located 1 mile north of Maquoketa on Highway 61.&nbsp;</p>
