DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=BASE64:<p>Join us for what we believe will be a fun series to pull birders together from the Linn County Area and beyond.&nbsp;&nbsp;A wonderful mix of interested folks held a discussion about this recently and this is the result!&nbsp;&nbsp;Wendy VanDeWalle and Chuck Ungs will lead this session.&nbsp;&nbsp;Expect to see some migrants and local birds in a mix of habitats.&nbsp;&nbsp;We are planning for a monthly series of hikes to provide some comradery for birders from beginners on up.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
\n<p>We are planning for a monthly series of hikes to provide some comradery for birders from beginners on up.&nbsp;&nbsp;The walks are being sponsored Iowa Ornithologists Union, Cedar Rapids Audubon Society, and Linn County Conservation Dept. as the current sponsors for this group.&nbsp;&nbsp;We hope you can join us, please register in advance if you can, free.&nbsp;&nbsp;Registration limited to keep group size manageable.&nbsp;&nbsp;Dress appropriately for the weather, hiking boots seem best and drab colors to prevent scaring the birds.&nbsp;&nbsp;Bring binoculars if you are able or join us regardless and we may have a few pairs to share.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
