LOCATION:Conservation Education Center, Kent Park
DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=BASE64:
We need volunteers to help us catch wild monarch butterflies for\ntagging! This activity is a great way to support monarch butterfly\nresearch. Events are dependent on weather conditions-we may cancel for\nrainy or cool weather. You can come out at any time during the 2 hour\nwindow to help us catch butterflies.\nThe small tags (tiny stickers) label each\nbutterfly with a unique number. Tagged butterflies will journey 2,000 miles to\ntheir winter home in Mexico.
\n
This location is great for families and folks of all ages! We will be\nbased around the Conservation Education Center around a gravel packed\npath that completes a 1/2 mile loop. Updates will be shared via email\nwith all registered participants. We will supply nets for catching\nbutterflies!\n
\n

\n
Registration automatically closes one day in advance. If you are\nfully registered, you can expect to receive an email "receipt" from\nMyCountyParks after registration. You will also receive an email from\nthe leading naturalist a couple days in advance of the program. If you\ndo not receive these emails, you may not be registered; call\n319-645-1011 for assistance in this case.**Check your spam or junk mail box if you do not see a reminder email the day before the event**
\n
JCC is committed to providing equal opportunity for participation in\nall programs, services and activities.
