Fungi are an integral part of\nthe ecosystem, playing an important role in decomposition and nutrient cycling\nthroughout the food web. Found in nearly every corner of the planet, scientists\nthink there could be up to 5 million different species of fungi!</p>\n<p>Join us as we stroll through the autumn woods to search for\nfungi and learn about what we find. The Prairie States Mushroom Club will be\njoining us to share their expertise. This program is great for folks of all\nages, children included! We will be walking on mostly flat terrain of dirt-packed\nor wood-chipped trails.\n</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Registration automatically closes one day in advance.
