DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=BASE64:<p>Homeschool families are invited to join Buena Vista County Conservation for a hands‑on monarch tagging experience. We&rsquo;ll start with a short program on monarchs, their life cycle, and their migration to Mexico, along with how tagging helps scientists track their journey.</p>
\n<p>After the presentation, families will help staff tag and release monarchs that were caught ahead of time. All tagging will be supervised to ensure safe handling.</p>
\n<p>Kids who want to try catching their own monarchs can then explore the prairie with nets! Any butterflies caught will be brought back to staff for tagging and release.</p>
\n<p>All equipment is provided.
