October is a great time to get feeders out and ready for birds that are preparing for winter. It's also a good month to begin any woodworking projects. This month, we are going to combine the two activities and build our own bird feeders. We will be building them as a platform feeder, but this design can easily be adapted into a hopper style feeder.
\nAll materials will be provided. Parts for each bird feeder will be pre-cut and labelled for ease of construction. After, participants are welcome to take their creation home, or leave at the park to be set out for wildlife viewing opportunities in the park.
