Celebrate National Hiking Day with Buena Vista County Conservation as we enjoy an afternoon hiking on the park’s scenic trails. This guided walk invites participants of all ages to slow down, breathe in the fresh air, and appreciate the sights and sounds of the late‑fall landscape.
\nDuring our hike, we’ll explore a variety of trail habitats, look for wildlife tracks and signs, and talk about how plants and animals prepare for the colder months ahead. This program is perfect for families, homeschoolers, and anyone who wants to get outside and enjoy Iowa’s natural spaces.
\nPlease dress for outdoor conditions and wear comfortable walking shoes. Registered participants will be notified in case of weather-related cancelation.
\nRegistration is required. We look forward to hitting the trail with you!
