\nCounty Conservation will be hosting an Owl Prowl at Twin Ponds, on Thursday,
\nFebruary 9, 2012 @ 6:00 pm. First, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about
\nthe owls of Iowa
\nand their adaptations. That will be followed by a chance to hop onto some
\nsnowshoes and try to call some in while hiking through the woods. If we are lucky,
\nwe will be able to see one of the snowy owls that has come to spend its winter
\nin Iowa.
\nPlease dress for the weather and wear boots. Due to a limited number of
\nsnowshoes, we ask that you call us ahead of time at 641-394-4714 to let us know
\nthat you plan on attending.
