\n    night and look for animal tracks on the way up to the mounds.</li>
\n    <li>Enjoy the sights, sounds, and smells of the
\n    night as we hike this moderately to difficult hiking path up the hillside.&nbsp; </li>
\n    <li>We will discuss the area
\n    history and look at the Indian Mounds.&nbsp;</li>
\n    <li>You may bring a flashlight
\n    but we will place red covers on all lights before we hike up the hillside.&nbsp;</li>
\n    <li>This is moderately-difficult hiking path to the Skillet Creek Indian Mounds</li>
\n</ul>
\n<p>Skillet Creek is managed by Webster County Conservation.&nbsp;<br />

\n<strong>To reach the area: </strong>&nbsp;follow Highway 175 west of Stratford approx. 4 miles. Just after crossing the bridge over the Des Moines River, turn north onto River Road. Turn onto Skillet Creek Rd (left at the Y intersection). Just beyond the first curve will be the parking lot where we&rsquo;ll be meeting. Bring a flashlight and dress warmly for a more enjoyable winter excursion. This program is free and open to the public, so bring children and friends and join in the fun. <br />
