Monona County Conservation Board Mission Statement
It is the mission of the Monona County Conservation Board
to provide the users of our park system with a positive and
diverse outdoor experience, utilizing our current resources, to
pursue other ways and means for the betterment of our system,
and educate the citizens to be wise caretakers of our natural
environment.
Oldham’s Recreation Area swim beach
Peter’s Park campground located on a 21 acre reclaimed
gravel pit adjacent to the Little Sioux River.
The Monona County Conservation
Board patch is worn on the uniforms
of the staff and is displayed on
directional signs and at areas
managed and maintained by the
Conservation Board.
