Seasonal Conservation Aide

Description: Part-time seasonal positions, 32-40 hrs. per week.  Working April through September with flexible start and end dates in areas managed by the Benton County Conservation.

Duties: General park maintenance and facility maintenance, which consists of mowing, trimming, trail maintenance, cleaning restrooms, large scale park project work, helping with environmental education programs and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:  Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.  Ability to operate various maintenance equipment is preferred.  Applicants may be asked to work in adverse weather conditions and must be able to handle physical activity.  Some weekends and holidays may also be required.  Preference will be given to applicants working towards a degree in Natural Resources or another related field.

Schedule: 32 to 40 hour work week

Salary: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour, depending on experience

Position Locations: Hannen Lake, Rodgers Park, Wildcat Bluff Recreation Area, and Conservation Technician Float
