Description
This person will function as a law enforcement park ranger for the O'Brien County Conservation Board. Essential functions include enforcing the code of Iowa and local rules and regulations according to the Conservation Board policies. Park rangers will provide reports of all law enforcement activities to the Executive Director.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Mowing, weeding, painting, garbage pick-up, cleaning, and other park maintenance duties as assigned.
- Enforces Iowa Code and local rules and regulations of the Conservation Board.
- Provide periodic public programming and educational services at the Prairie Heritage Center and in other public areas such as classrooms, libraries, parks, etc.
- Communicate with campers and other park users in the areas.
- Participates in fish and wildlife management and improvement activities.
- Serves in various capacities in the prescribed fire program.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Must be able to pass the eligibility requirements to attend the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy. Have a valid Iowa Driver's License.
