Description
Essential Duties
and Responsibilities
The following duties are
normal for this position.
These jobs are
not to be construed as exclusive, or a specific list, and other duties may be
required and assigned by the Conservation Director:
- General park maintenance including but not limited to:
mowing, weed trimming, litter pick-up, tree planting/trimming, establishment
and management of food plots and prairies.
- Maintenance and/or construction of park facilities
including office building, campgrounds, shelters, shower house, restrooms,
trails, and wildlife areas.
- Must be able to operate equipment including but not limited
to: skid loader, tractor, UTV’s, chainsaws, lawn mowers, and other power tools.
- Maintenance of equipment including, but not limited to: vehicles,
skid loader, tractor, mowers, UTV’s, chainsaws, line trimmers, and other power
equipment.
- Snow removal from roads, parking areas, and sidewalks.
- General plumbing and electrical work.
- Assist in administrative duties as required.
- Will also be responsible for assistance with environmental
education programs.
- Assist the general public with questions, concerns, and
inquiries.
- Other related duties or assignments as required.
Qualifications
High school diploma or Certified GED.
Associate’s Degree in a natural resource field, or agriculture-related field is preferred.
