Description
Madison County Conservation is seeking a part-time naturalist intern (20-24 hrs/week) for the summer season.
Intern duties will include but are not limited to:
- Assisting the naturalist with summer education camps
- Developing natural resource based activities for use during education programming
- Assisting with routine animal care
- Maintaining geocache trails
- Writing natural resource themed articles for the local newspaper
- Answering and returning phone calls
- Organizing program registrations and educational materials
- Completing special projects as assigned
Intern must have the ability to work effectively with or without direct supervision.
Qualifications
Must have an interest in conservation, environmental education, or outdoor recreation.
