Description
ICCB's seasonal Summer Ranger is under immediate supervision of the permanent staff and director. This position performs tasks required in the maintenance of Ida County parks and habitats. Starting date range is April 20th, until filled. Applicant must be capable of regular attendance at Moorehead Park in Ida Grove, IA for 22 weeks. This is a 40 hour per week position with a starting pay of $10.00-$11.00/hr. Holidays and weekends are shared.

Position requires frequent exposure to
outdoor elements which may include heat, humidity, cold, rain, snow, live or
dead animals, animal waste, odors, loud noises, filthy environments and
insects.
Must be able to walk on uneven or heavily
wooded ground for an extended period on time.
Position requires frequent use of hands or
fingers to handle or feel; ability to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; ability to
stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance.
In order to officially be offered the position the
selected candidate must pass a physical exam, as required by the Ida County
Safety committee.
Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license. Ability to perform physical work, work with the public, and be a good communicator. Previous experience in landscaping, maintenance, construction, or grounds keeping; preferred.
