Conservation Aide

DUTIES:  Seasonal, park maintenance position under the supervision of the Director and other SCCB staff.  Duties include but not limited to mowing, trimming, painting, pruning, maintenance on facilities and grounds, roads, trails fences, etc.  Some weekend and holiday work may be required.

REQUIREMENTS: Experience in operation of tractors, mowers, skid loaders and power equipment is preferred. Ability to use heavy equipment, hand and power tools, and work in adverse conditions. Preform strenuous physical tasks including lifting and bending and able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Ability to follow written and oral instructions and interact with the general public.

SALARY AND WORK DATES: $10.00 per hour, approximately 40 hours per week. Some uniform provided. Position begins in May and runs through August, starting and ending dates flexible.
