Description
**EXTENDED DEADLINE**
Boone County Conservation Board is seeking
a full time Conservation Executive Director.
Hiring range $50,000 - $62,000 annual
salary
Boone County Conservation Executive Director develops,
conducts, facilitates and oversees the Boone County Conservation Department
under the general administrative direction of the Conservation Board. Conservation
Director manages all real property in the conservation system according to Iowa
Code 350; responsible for enforcing Conservation Board rules and Federal,
State, and local regulations relating to conservation; oversee administration
of conservation staff; administers
budget and preparing annual budget for presentation, maintains monitors
expenditures and budget activity.
Bachelor’s Degree in Conservation, Natural Resources, or
related sciences and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in
natural resource management; OR any equivalent combination of education,
training and experience which provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities
necessary to perform the work. Supervisory experience preferred.
