Temporary Part-time Summer Positions

The positions will range between 12-14 weeks during the summer months and will average 40 hours per week. The positions may include some evenings and weekends. Responsibilities include but are not limited to operating mowing equipment, chainsaws, power tools,light construction and general park maintenance. Past experience in grounds maintenance or construction work is helpful. Persons pursing an education in a natural resource field are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications are being 18 years of age, possessing a valid Iowa Driver’s License, and being eligible for coverage under the County Motor Vehicle Policy. Physical requirements include the ability to lift heavy objects, long periods of standing, bending and reaching.
