Conservation Director

Henry County is seeking a full-time Conservation Director.

DUTIES: Duties shall include serving as the chief executive officer responsible to plan, coordinate, direct, and oversee all aspects of the conservation program and department. Additionally, the holder of this position shall oversee the administration of staff and manage property within the conservation system.  

REQUIREMENTS: Must possess a bachelor’s degree in natural resources, outdoor recreation, or a related natural science field and/or 4 years of progressively responsible experience in natural resource management; OR any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.   Law enforcement certification and Henry County residency is required within 2-years of appointment.  

SALARY: Salary commensurate with background and experience and includes a generous benefit package.
