Field Tech

Ø  Perform all work duties and activities in accordance with County policies, procedures, and safety practices

Ø  Answer questions, promote safety, and provide safety for area visitors by providing general information about park rules and regulations Ø  Attend work regularly at the designated place and time

Ø  Assist Conservation staff with natural resource management, timber management, and trail maintenance duties

Ø  Perform routine maintenance and janitorial duties on all owned facilities including: office/shop, outdoor restrooms (SST), shower house(s), campground(s), historic buildings and museums

Ø  Perform daily and routine maintenance on gas and diesel tractors and power equipment

Ø  Assist Conservation staff and volunteers with special events and projects

Ø  Keep informed on matters relating to Conservation Board policy and the Director’s administrative directives

This is a part time job year round.  Some weekends may be needed.
