Description
Basic responsibility:
- Assist in operation, development, and maintenance
of MCCB areas, facilities, and equipment.
Knowledge, skills and
abilities:
- Knowledge of conservation principles, practices and trends.
- Ability to communicate in a courteous manner with the public.
- Ability to work without supervision.
- Ability to safely operate vehicles, equipment, power and hand tools.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical labor in all types of weather
conditions.
General duties and
responsibilities:
- Participate in daily maintenance tasks in county areas such as mowing,
trimming, painting, etc.
- Explain regulations and recreational opportunities for area users in a
clear, concise, and courteous manner.
- Provide for safety of area visitors; administer first aid if needed.
- Maintain neat personal appearance and wear uniform while on duty.
- Adhere to agency policy and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by director.
- Work weekends, holidays, and other irregular hours as assigned.
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must possess valid driver’s license and be able to operate a manual transmission.
Certification in First Aid and CPR desired.
